The Death of Actors and Models
Real people can be digitized in form and in voice and non-existant people can be conjured from thin air. The stored data can be changed and controlled. Do we need actors anymore? Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt can be created digitally...why are humans making so much money off of looks?

[Discussion] Are there any other parents out there thinking of their children and the singularity?
As parents we want to see our children grow up, graduate high school, college, marriage, family, career, and then grandchildren. This all is part of our culture and genetic drive. When you think of your child "uploading" themselves, what are your thoughts on that? I think there is going to be a big rift in society when this all "goes down". The singularity, if it occurs, will be a very traumatic event.
